Christians experiencing the pain of divorce or relationships breakdown
If you've ever been through divorce or relationship breakdown as a person of faith, you may have experienced condemnation, or at least a lack of understanding, from your church leaders or congregation. This can add another layer of grief to your situation. Although there has been great strides made by the advent and implementation of divorce recovery courses, there is still a long way to go in making church a safe compassionate, forgiving and healing place for people experiencing the pain of divorce.
All of us here at Heavenly Relationships have experienced that pain in some way and we have a heart for you! We aim to create a space where you can find resources, community and support from like-minded people.
The experience of single or single again christians in the church
Likewise, singleness can be a lonely place to be if you're part of a church. There's a disconnect between the experience of single people in the church and the understanding of church leaders about that experience and what single people need going forward.
We aim to provide a platform where both single christians and christian leaders can learn together how to better understand and support each other.
